So then, the couple thinks rejecting a boy's gender is brilliant, setting out to psychologically engineer a girly boy, even calling him "Sasha," a name not carved from the male domain.
The two parents in this case apparently do not care about the long-term pain the boy will have from their rejection of his birth gender. For 5 years, during the most formative years of a child’s life, the parents reinforced rejection of their son’s male gender, in favor of influencing him toward their own agenda, conducting a social experiment on their own child.
My grandmother rejected my male gender and dressed me in female clothing while babysitting me at her house when I was 5 years old. I regretted how the dress-up by grandma destroyed my natural gender as my life became twisted up in pain. Later I went through the gender surgery to change genders. Thanks, Grandma.
Is he their son or their social experiment? Might be considered psychological abuse.
It will be many years before this child will be able to accurately share his views about his parents’ actions.
